CATSWeb Web Services adds a powerful and strategic new dimension to the CATSWeb Enterprise Quality Tracking system. The client-side platform independence of CATSWeb's true zero client architecture has now been extended to server-side customization and system integration. With optimized interfaces for both Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) and Microsoft .NET, CATSWeb Web Services ensures that the choice of technology platforms is firmly in the hands of our customers.

AssurX's innovative design allows CATSWeb to consume and utilize any Web Service, regardless of platform, location or data format, without requiring an integration server or Web Services Management Platform. External Web Services can be linked into the application at various points, from back-end transactional processes up to and including the user interface. This enables customers to add value and improve ease of use by reusing proven, reliable software services.

• Data lookups and calculations
• Drill down links to context-sensitive detail, summary or analytic information
  

In addition to consuming existing Web Services, customers can develop their own Web Services to extend the CATSWeb system by way of its Data Link and Event Hook interfaces. Customer Web Services may be implemented in J2EE, Microsoft .NET, or any other development environment that supports Web Services technology.

CATSWeb Web Services: No integration server required.

CATSWeb Web Services provides an expansive, configurable Web Services Application Programming Interface (API) with optimized operations for both J2EE and Microsoft .NET. The Web Services API dynamically adapts its underlying XML Schema Definitions (XSDs) and Web Services Description Language (WSDL) representations to a customer's particular set of form and workflow designs. This makes the CATSWeb Web Services API more robust, easier to use, and self-documenting. Customers can create multiple, configurable Web Service instances, thereby allowing each instance to be optimized for a particular group of Web Service consumers.
