International Account Executive (European Based)
Meet and exceed annual sales quota
Develop new business accounts within a defined geographic territory. Candidate must be able to handle the full sales cycle, including prospecting, lead qualifying, identification of business requirements, solution development, demonstration, proposal development, and closure
Work closely with the Sales Engineer support team to identify key customer business requirements and transform them into AssurX solutions that meet the customer requirements
Maintain a clear understanding of how existing customers are using the AssurX platform and hosting site visits between prospects and those customers
Form and perpetuate durable business partnerships and relationships that will promote the long-term success of AssurX
Required Skills and Education:
BA or equivalent in engineering, business or technical field. MBA desirable.
5-7 years sales experience selling business software applications, or products/services that have a high $ value and premium price (minimal discount), preferably to life science or other regulated businesses.
Experience selling intangible products– application software, strategic IT services, strategic IT technology, IT Services Management solutions (ERP, Supply Chain, etc.)
Technical solutions experience desirable. Experience in business process re-engineering is highly desirable
Broad technical background with current understanding of Client Server, SQL Relational Database, Internet/intranet, Microsoft Office, Corporate Enterprise Systems (QMS, ERP, PLM, LMS, etc.)
Strong professional presence with the ability to call on the executive/management levels of mid-size to large corporations
Demonstrated, consistent success in achieving an annual quota of $500K to $2.0M+
Strong work ethic with a high degree of integrity
Expect to travel moderately within a specific sales territory
Develop and test software products and services, including Special Product offerings for customers
Develop documentation related to software products and services
Assist product support personnel as required with technical inquiries
Test and validate software products and services
Assure compliance with AssurX software development standards
Required Skills and Education
BS or equivalent in a technical discipline, or equivalent combination of on-the-job training and experience
2 years of software development experience, including at least 1 year in database-related development
Knowledge of development tools and languages, especially Visual Studio, .Net technologies and SQL
Knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as VB .Net/C#, Component Object Model (COM), ActiveX Data Objects (ADO)
Knowledge of relational database fundamentals
Knowledge of relational database fundamentals and using SQL Server and/or Oracle tools
Preferred Skills and Education
Experience with AJAX
Experience writing Windows Services
Experience with XML and Web Services

As a Project/Configuration Engineer on the Professional Services team your job will be to meet with customers, help them analyze their needs, define their requirements, and then configure solutions within the AssurX software platform.
AssurX offers you the opportunity to do this all from home – There is no need to relocate or to work from an office. Our engineers are located all across the country, performing the majority of their responsibilities via phone, screen sharing, and VPN. Additionally, there are opportunities to travel, both domestically and internationally for customer onsite visits and company team meetings. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field or the equivalent education and/or experience
