With over 150 years of combined industry experience, the AssurX Professional Services Organization (APSO) provides expert technical and program management oversight to customer deployments around the globe. APSO’s goal is to maximize business value for our customers by accelerating implementations.
The AssurX Structured Implementation Process (ASIX) provides a consistent mechanism for defining, designing, configuring, testing and deploying business processes. ASIX reduces implementation time and risk, while ensuring predictable and repeatable results. The ASIX methodology promotes a co-development environment for the initial deployment and establishes technology transfer processes from the very beginning. We’ve seen firsthand how this level of partnership with our customers greatly shortens the system acceptance time, minimizes organization upset, and maximizes user system acceptance.
The ASIX methodology is broken in to small manageable segments of work:
- Requirements Mapping: This phase maps customer requirements against product features, functions, and capabilities. The output from this stage helps define the specific business processes that will be implemented to address the business and operational goals outlined by the customer requirements.
- Detailed Process Design: This phase develops the specifications for each business process identified in the Requirements Mapping stage. This step includes details such as signatories, escalation, training requirements, and documentation control. The Process Design is documented using process work flows and screen mock-ups, if applicable.
- Process Configuration: This phase delivers business process configuration based on the design outlined in the Detailed Process Design. Since configuration activity can occur in parallel, multiple processes can be configured simultaneously to accelerate deployment.
- Desktop Pilot/Conference Room Pilot: This phase ensures all configured processes fit together into a cohesive enterprise quality solution. ASIX methodology recommends interacting with real external systems during this phase, where appropriate.
- Production Go-Live/Commissioning: The final phase delivers a smooth transition and cut-over to the newly configured solution.
