System Deployment Options

On-site Installation
If a server or servers has been allocated for CATSWeb, AssurX can perform all CATSWeb installation tasks at your location. This can include installing and configuring the CATSWeb server software, installing the required software components, and running a suite of standard tests to assure the system is operating correctly. The service price is based on the number of servers and their configuration, which software components need to be installed, etc.

Remote Upgrades
When AssurX releases a new software version, technical support engineers will connect to your server(s) remotely via a dial-up or Internet connection, install and configure the new software version, and perform a suite of standard tests to assure the system is operating correctly. Users will automatically receive all the benefits of the new version the next time they access the system via their web browser (no client upgrades are ever required). AssurX will work with you to schedule the server upgrades during evenings, weekends, holidays, or other times to minimize user inconvenience.

Turnkey System Delivery
Turnkey System Delivery is a great option for customers that do not already have a server available for CATSWeb, or who lack the information systems personnel required for a typical customer-installed deployment. AssurX will deliver a state-of-the-art server (or servers) fully configured with the Server operating system, required software components, and the CATSWeb software all pre-installed and tested. Upon delivery, the customer simply plugs the computer into the network and turns on the power. The server(s) will be pre-configured with an automated data backup and maintenance system. You specify either a tape backup (requiring you to periodically exchange backup tapes on the server) or a backup to a network file share, where your normal network backup process will archive the data automatically.

Legacy Data Conversion/Importing
AssurX understands that your existing data is a valuable asset. In almost all cases, your data can be converted and imported into CATSWeb so that it is immediately available and accessible when the system is installed. AssurX will review samples of your existing data and provide you with a price quote for performing the conversion/importing process. The process will be planned to provide a smooth transition from your legacy system(s) to CATSWeb.
