(2) Account Executive (East Coast, Midwest)
Responsibilities:
  • Meet and/exceed annual sales quota.
  • Develop new business accounts within a defined geographic territory.
    Candidate must be able to handle the full sales cycle, including prospecting, lead qualifying, identification of business requirements, solution development, demonstration, proposal development, and close.
  • Work closely with the Sales Engineer support team to identify key customer business requirements and transform them into AssurX solutions which meet the customer requirements.
  • Create solution proposals and/or answer qualified RFP's.
  • Maintain clear understanding of how existing customers are using CATSweb and hosting site visits between prospects and those customers.
  • Form and perpetuate durable business partnerships and relationships which will promote the long-term success of AssurX.

Requirements:

  • BA or equivalent in engineering, business or technical field. MBA desirable. 3-5 years sales experience selling business software applications, or products/services that have a high $$$ value, premium price (minimal discount). Product must be intangible - application software, strategic IT services, strategic IT technology. Experience selling IT Services Management solutions (Quality Management, Regulatory Compliance, ERP, Supply Chain, etc.) is preferred.
  • Big 6 management consulting background or similar technical solutions experience desirable. Experience in business process reengineering is highly desirable.
  • Broad technical background, with current understanding of Client Server, SQL Relational Database, Internet/intranet, Microsoft BackOffice, ERP.
  • Strong professional presence with the ability to call on the executive/management levels of mid-size to large corporations.
  • Demonstrated, consistent success in achieving an annual quota of $1.0M to $3.0M.
  • Strong work ethic with high degree of integrity.
  • International business experience.
  • Expected travel moderately within specific sales territory.

Technical Support Engineers Level 1 and Level 2
Respond to phone, email, and fax inquiries and troubleshoot software installation and usage difficulties for AssurX customers for the CATSWeb application. Research current knowledge base and support response history. Add meaningful data to the corporate quality system to improve the future customer support experience. Provide superior customer service, building customer loyalty and satisfaction..

Essential Job Functions:
  • Respond to phone, email and fax inquiries. Share responsibility for 12 hour on call service
  • Determine customer needs and recommend solutions to customer issues
  • Research current and past customer issues for appropriate solutions
  • Enter support data into the corporate quality system to aid in future support issue resolution
  • Refer issues up the support hierarchy when appropriate

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • 4 year degree in information technology field or equivalent combination of on-the-job training and experience
  • Minimum 2 years customer service/technical support experience

  • Knowledge of current Internet technologies and basic computer technology
  • Demonstrable problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision

Senior Software Engineer

Job Description:

Specify software application requirements. Develop design specifications. Implement software designs using Visual Basic, Visual Basic .NET, AJAX, and JavaScript. Develop test specifications and perform unit testing, code coverage analysis, and performance analysis. Document and track software engineering metrics. Develop SQL Server and Oracle database schemas and queries. Design, develop, and maintain web interfaces using ASP.NET, Visual Basic .NET, AJAX, and JavaScript, and COM+. Port Visual Basic 6 applications to Visual Basic .NET. Develop automated validation applications which track code coverage and requirements validation. Write installation guides and validations specifications. Create setup packages for web, system service, web service, and windows forms applications.

Experience:

A minimum of 10 years of CATSWeb Quality Management System software maintenance and development is required. Experience with Visual Basic .NET, .NET Framework 3.5, Transact SQL, SQL Plus, MS Access, SQL Server and Oracle RDBMS is required. Experience developing training materials, code examples, and a history of successfully interfacing with customers is required. Experience with HTTP/S protocols is required. Security certificate experience is desirable. Experience with COM object development, maintenance, and usage is required. Multi-threaded software design and implementation is desirable. Experience developing system and web services is desirable.
