Customers Hail ‘Dashboards & Display Parts’ Update at AssurX User Conference
Annual Event Gathers Current Customers, Prospects to Swap Best Practices to Advance Quality Operations at All Levels
MORGAN HILL, CA (October 14, 2005) Current customers and interested prospects gathered together September 18-21 to demonstrate how they leverage the software tools and best practices solutions from AssurX, Inc., the market leader in Web-based enterprise quality and compliance solutions.
The event was held at The Village at Squaw Valley, Squaw Valley, CA, home of the 1960 Winter Olympics and located only minutes away from Lake Tahoe.
"Each year’s conference has topped the previous year in attendance, and 2005 was no exception,” said Tamar June, Vice President, Strategic Marketing. Some 50 different companies, a mix of current customers and late-stage prospects, were represented at the event. “It was an excellent opportunity for everyone to share experiences, learn about new technologies, and pick the brains of our AssurX technical staff on-site,” she added.
Perhaps the biggest “buzz” generator at the 2005 User Conference was AssurX’s new update to CATSWeb, the Dashboards & Display Parts advanced reporting tool. This free update provides an even easier customer graphical interface with clear charts and other visual cues that can be user configured to a customer’s exact specifications.
For AssurX East Coast Regional Sales Director Vince Smith, the conference reinforced the confidence the company has in its products and its team. Contrasting the staged and controlled environment found at similar events from other companies, Smith asked, “How many User Conferences or other events like this will bring unscripted current customers together with potential sales prospects? AssurX does it this way because we know customers love to talk about how the products help them to improve their operations, and frankly everyone benefits from this open give and take.”
Customers including Genzyme, Sandia National Laboratories, Biolase and Access Business Group -- offered a range of valuable case study presentations. Some presentations demonstrated how CATSWeb had directly improved operations or improved specific tasks such as ERP integration; other presentations focused on how easy it had been to deploy the system from the outset.
“We asked a wide sampling of our customers to tell the unvarnished story because we know how much they love CATSWeb,” June summed up. “We aren’t about canned sales pitches. We are proud to let our customers do the talking for us. I can’t wait until next year’s event.”
