Conference Overview:
This Web conference will cover the need for a systematic approach to documenting compliance to the NERC Reliability Standards, including completing pre-audit questionnaires and the company’s basis for compliance. Most utility organizations have come to the conclusion that managing these activities with spreadsheets and email is inadequate and ineffective. We will demonstrate a working compliance tracking system that acts as a tracking tool and repository for managing and storing the requisite information and documentation.

John Olszewski is an Advanced Compliance Specialist at FirstEnergy Corporation and is responsible for guiding FirstEnergy towards exceeding full compliance with the NERC Standards and FERC Regulations by developing sound compliance policies, procedures, and best practices that enable FirstEnergy to monitor and demonstrate compliance by initiating proactive efforts to self-identify and address issues.
Sal Lucido is Vice President of Enterprise Solutions at AssurX, Inc., and has been with the company for the past 14 years. With over two decades of operations, engineering, and R&D experience, Mr. Lucido currently works with customers in heavily regulated industries providing them with products and services that meet and exceed their quality and regulatory needs. He holds MS and BS degrees in Engineering from San Jose State University and CalPoly San Luis Obispo respectively.
